The title says it all really. Ever since I updated to 2014-001 update (SSL security update) my mac pro has been shuting down really slow.
Is there anyway to fix this. I takes about 4min to shut down with an ssd 😮. Any help will be much appreciated

Hello,
I'm also experiencing a similar problem after updating to 2014-001. my MacBook Pro is a 2.4GHz Intel Core i5 with 8GB 1333 MHz DDR3 and 500GB space of disk and is working very slow. I am desesperate. Everything worked very well before updating.
I've done what Matt00 suggested but it hasn't solved the problem.
Any suggestion? Thanks in advance!
