Q: Is there way to finish a payment using gift cards? I don't have the funds on my credit card but in store credit! Why won't this work ?!

Trying to figure out what I can do besides waiting for my pay check to come but trying to finish a previous payment I owe to apple with a gift card! Wondering why I can finish my payment with this iTunes gift card?

iPhone 5s, iOS 7.0.6

Payment due to what type of facility? The Apple Store (for, say, an iPhone purchase)? The iTunes Store? The App Store?

Are there different countries involved? Basically, the iTunes gift card needs to be used in the country in which it was purchased. It cannot be used in the Apple Store - only the iTunes or App Stores.
