Airport Utility broken: Bonjour for Windows: How to tell if it successfully installed KB ht2703

Airport Utility worked for a few months on my nice, new Dell Laptop. No other issues.

Then Airport Utility suddenly lost the ability to 'discover' airport base stations on my network .

** In Airport Utility, I can manually enter the IP address of the device (File / configure other) and reach it **

1. I performed this 3 times. No improvement.

2. I also performed "How to restart the Apple Mobile Device Service " 3 times. No improvement.

I fear the only move now is to wipe Windows 7, re-install W7 & install itunes.

Please send me a silver bullet and not a sledge hammer to the head....

Thanks
