Keyboard: random keys stopped working. IMac with Mavericks

I am on a Imac with Mavericks.
Tried apple usb keyboard and wireless, even tried other brands. Some keys just don't work.
Re-installed Mav and nothing. keeps going.
Different user account, same happen.

Tried all the http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1381 things. Nothing.
Tried reseting the System management controller, nothing again.

Any tips?

Thanks in advance.

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

Please do 2-3 SMC and PRAM resets back to bakc and then test. Instructions can be found by clicking Intel iMac SMC and PRAM resets

You can also attempt to restart in Safe Mode to clear some caches.
