Unfortunately, there are no iPv6 settings on an Apple TV to set up.

Sorry, but as you can imagine, no one on a user-to-user support forum will know anything about what a notoriously secretive company like Apple might do, or when they might do it.
Suggest that you try contacting Apple directly to see if they can tell you anything.
When will Apple TV support IPV6? I'm hoping for support on gen 2,3 Apple TV versions.
