Where can I get ARD 3.2.2 from.

I need to use a PowerBook G4 to remote desktop onto a mac mini. Is this possible, and is it ARD 3.2.2 that I need.

If so where can I download/purchase it from.

If I can get this up and working, will it be like terminal services on Windows, so that one person can work on the physical machine at the same time as a remote connection is active?

Cheers

There is an ARD Admin and ARD client. Most online are only Updates

Apple Remote Desktop version 3.2.2 can be installed on computers that have:

  • Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later
  • An Ethernet (recommended), AirPort, or IP over FireWire network connection
  • Apple Remote Desktop (ARD) 3.0, 3.1, 3.2 or 3.2.1

Perhaps a local 'Apple user group' may have among its members a collector

of older vintage software install disc sets with the original ARD application?

Any compatibiity options would have to be researched since it appears dated.

Good luck & happy computing! 🙂
