I have iPhone 5S, 32 GB purchased from Apple - US (online purhase) A1533 Model.
I am using this in India with Airtel Sim in Bangalore. I have opted for 4G LTE plan two days back from service provider and he has enabled the same. But my phone is not taking the 4G LTE, it works only with 3G.
Can any one help me to solve this issue.

Did you actually bother reading this thread at all? The US A1533 is NOT COMPATIBLE with the LTE networks in India.
It won't work. There is no way to make it work. You should have purchased a phone intended for use in India if LTE was important to you.
I have given up on this as I am convinced that A1533 hardware itself is not compatible with current Airtel LTE band. Currently Airtel LTE band is 2300 Mhz which A1533 doesn't support. If http://telecomtalk.info/airtel-to-roll-out-4g-pan-india-fd-lte1800mhz/114069/ is true, soon Airtel will be rolling out 1800Mhz LTE and A1533 supports this this band 🙂
You have purchased an iPhone designed for the North American market, you will not get 4G coverage in India.

Sure. Sell your phone & purchase a 5S from Airtel. You'll then have LTE. You bought the wrong phone.
were you able to solved this problem? I too am trying to enable Airtel LTE on A1533. Several experiemnts suggested by Airtel and Apple care didn't help.
Well, as per Apple Care a iphone-restore with Indian SIM card inserted should configure A1533 so that Indian LTE can enabled. They are pretty confident. I have done a restore, but it didn't work.
No. It won't. The hardware in the US phone is NOT COMPATIBLE with the LTE bands used in India. It won't work.
