Q: iPad is stuck

I was updating my iPad with some security feature for IOS 7. Update was downloaded and iPad restarted to initialize the update. And than it got stuck. For a whole day all I have on my screen is Apple sign and a thin line below - filled for about 1cm and blank for the rest of its lenght. It's not moving anywhere. I tried connecting to my Mac - to na avail. What do I do?

Cheers,

Sonja

If the Apple Logo with Progress Bar below it is stuck for a very long time then you will have to Restore your iPad to Factory Settings by taking it in Recovery Mode as there might be some error while updating the iPad (Incomplete Update).

Taking device into Recovery Mode  : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808

After your iPad is Restored you can Restore the most recent Backup on your iPad if you have done that earlier on your Computer or get the data back from iCloud if you have setup iCloud on your iPad and backed up your iPad.

Redownload Past Purchases from iTunes and App Store on your Device : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519
