Add a photo to your contact card in the Contacts app.

not sure i understand. i need to add me as a contact?
Yes.
Then tell iOS who you are:
Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Scroll down to the CONTACTS section > My Info > select yourself from the Contact list.
This will also allow you to use AutoFilll in Safari:
Settings > Safari > Passwords & AutoFill > Contact Info - On (verify the My Info field below the Contact Info toggle is correct)
