can you advise how many total apple loops I should see once you install the $4.99 additional content ?  I only see around 1160 and thought I am supposed to see around 2000.   thank you

See:  Expanding GarageBand for Mac (v10.0) content with an in-app purchase

You should have 2000 loops, but it will depend on the signature of and your settings, how many loops you will be seeing at the same time.

The loop browser is context sensitive.

For example, if your project is set to 3/4 measures, you will see less loops than for 4/4 projects.

Check the header of the Loop Browser. Is it set to "Loops"? The search field cleared? The scale set to "Any"?  And have yo disabled "Filter for more relevant results" in the preferences?

thanks but my settings were all as you described and I still only see the count as 1167...what is also  weird is I was working on a project and  selected a loop (alternative acoustic guitar 09 )and now I can only see that loop in the list when I am in that project....if I open a new project I can not see acoustic guitar 09 and it does not show up even in a search....I have also reindexed a few times but that did not change anything,  thoughts ?
