Apple Mail has disappeared on iPhone after update to 7.0.6

Just what the headline says. So now it's impossible for me to send anything from my iPhone using some of my apps. This functionality is extremely important to me. I often make voice recordings that I used to be able to send right from the voice app. Please help me restore my Apple Mail icon.

Try a Reset: Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons and don’t let go until the screen goes dark and the Apple logo appears (no data will be lost)

Was it moved to another page or into a folder?
Does it show in a Spotlight search (swipe down from the middle of the screen)?

Reset Home Screen Layout: Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout

Oh brother, how embarrassing. I went to do the backup via iTunes prior to restoring, and it's showing me my Home screen, which displays a full first page of icons, 3 app icons on the second page and everything else on the 3rd and 4th pages. That's where Mail has gone to. Thank you for making the suggestion and leading me to sync!
