Can't share Pages '09 Document
Have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 Using Pages '09 and want others to work on this document on their computers. Is there a way to electronically send this document to them so they can work on it?

How about emailing it to them and having them email it back?
Be aware that the newest versions of Pages will convert the document to the newer format, and your co-workers would have to export it back to the Pages '09 format before sending it back. Some features of your document may not survive the double conversion.
