Q: Updated Mavericks - Power button not acting as instructed

Hello All

I updated to the newest version of Maverics a couple of days ago (when it came out) and I noticed that the power button on my laptop and on an external logitec keyboard (which was working prior to the update) was giving an instant sleep mode, but there was a delay before the sleep. I googled the answer and noticed that it was a new feature.

Some people mentioned the ctrl + power button menu, which I wanted to try out, and now I only get that meny when holding the sleep button. Is there any way to revert to the sleep after pressing and holding the button? Could this be a bug that you are left with if you use the ctrl + pb menu?
