no WLAN after standby (mavericks 10.9.2)

Hi,

after the last Mac OS update to 10.9.2, my local WLAN will not be found after standby.

When the macbook was in a standby phase, I open the lid, login, but the WLAN icon keeps grey.

I have to manual to choose my favorite WLAN.

Also since the update to 10.9.2 the macbook hangs, sometimes. I have to force switch off and on.

It seems to be dependencies between this WLAN issue and the hangs.

I never had this problems before 10.9.2.

greetings

Sven

Go to System Prefences > Network. Make sure your wireless conenction is the active one. Now click the "Advanced..." button at the bottom of the wireless window. That should open a new window with the "WiFi" tab selected. If it is not selected, make it so.

Look at the "Preferred Networks" pane that lists networks you've used. Delete any you do not use on at least a weekly basis, and click "OK."

When I had the same problem with an older version of OSX (black screen on waking) , system.log showed that, on waking, my MBP was trying to connect to the network at a back-country lodge I'd rented several weeks before and many miles away. Deleting that and other unused networks solved my wake from sleep issues. Now I am careful not to let unused networks build up after a trip.

Thanks Allen Jones, but I already just have this one network in the preferred networks list.

I deleted ALL networks and manually connected to my home network.
I also tried a fixed IP address with no success.
After sleep it shows me all kinds of networks but my own.
My iPhone has no problems at all connecting and staying in my network.
It's just my MBP with 10.9.2 that's having troubles.
For some reason this has started just recently and I have no idea what could have caused it.

Open Console in Applications > Utilities. Under "Files" in the left-hand navigation pane under "Files," select "system.log"

See if it shows any clues involving failures with networking operations. They should be obvious. If not, copy/paste the most recent entries (as close to current date/time as possible) into a response here. Don't go back too far or there will be thousands of lines to review!

OK, that is from last sleep till next wake and Network error.
It doesn't tell me a lot. (?)
