why do I have more restarts with my macbook pro & reports to Apple?

Lately I have found that I have had many more problems with my macbook pro requiring a restart and consequently reports to Apple, is everyone else having the same experience?

I have I5 machine with 8g ram and 1 tb drive.

What does Apple do with the reports?

It seems to me I have also had more problems on both apple machines (I own a mac mini as well,) and I can't help but compare them to the constant problems I used to have when I was using windows machines!

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

wildkatoz,

I don’t know what they do with the reports; they could use them to keep statistics on what goes wrong, or as places to look for problems in the OS X source code, or to provide input for a random number generator, for all I know.

Have you considered posting a sample crash report of yours here, to see if anyone here can help you to figure out the problem?
