Nobody here knows.
What's "incredible?" Every time there's a new camera model, there are numerous posts here incredulous that the RAW format isn't supported immediately. Every. Single. Time.
So no, I don't think anything is incredible. I think it takes time to get a camera, develop support for the new and proprietary format that gives optimal results.
I understand about the time of developer's work but i don't understand because it's so long time. Another software as lightroom is more quick for raw support..
I agree that the time it takes Apple to update raw support is completely unacceptable. Adobe seems to provide updates very quickly after new cameras are released. It seems to take Apple many months after Adobe has already updated their support. If Adobe can do this almost coincidentally with the release of new cameras, Apple should be able to do the same thing if they prioritized this. This is not customer focused behavior at all! Very poor performance!!
What's incredible is not that it takes time, is that it takes almost 6 months for a professional-grade camera that has the same sensor as one that is supported (x-pro) and shares a significant amount of features with yet another one (x-e1) that is supported.
The e-x2 is not a beginner's p&s nor is it an entry level ILMC. It's a pro-grade camer. It would seem only natural that Apple would devote some resources to accomodate its users.
However, I do agree that it's preferable to take some time to offer optimal RAW support.
None of which -- note I'm not commenting on your veracity -- is relevent in our user-to-user forum. There is one and only one Apple-approved way to provide feedback to Apple about Aperture:
"Aperture ▹ Provide Aperture Feedback"
Since Apple has a long and fairly consistent track record of providing updates to support newly-released cameras weeks and sometimes months after Adobe, there is nothing incredible about the delays between the release of new cameras and Apple's update to OS X's Digital Camera RAW. They show a consistency fully in measure with their status as a corporate megalith.
It may be discouraging, and possibly even infuriating, but it is most credible.
As an Aperture user, there are two, and as I see it, only two courses of action for you:
Hi,
with GraphicConverter or other EXIF tools program you can change the EXIF Camera Model from XE-2 to X100s and then Aperture works fine as both sensors are basically the same.

I've registered my feedback to Apple about this problem several times since last November. I have now had no choice but to buy Adobe Lightroom and start using it. This speaks very poorly of Apple, at least in terms of application support. I now regret having recommended Aperture to so many people.
BTW, my Fufifilm X-E2 isn't the only new camera that has been released over the last few months and isn't supported. There are a number of others by other major camera brands.
