Audio disappeared after project duplicated. How do I raise the audio back?

I edited together a 2 hour movie and when I duplicated the project, now the audio doesn't play in either the original or duplicated project? When I play the sequence, I can see the video but no sound is coming out. Is there a switch somewhere to raise the audio level? Is there something else wrong? I am in 10.1.1 and thank you.
