Mar 6, 2014 5:14 PM in response to Teancumby Lawrence Finch,Yes, enter the correct username and password. That message comes from Comcast, not from the phone or the iPad. So even though you think it is right, Comcast disagrees with you.

Mar 6, 2014 9:09 PM in response to Lawrence Finchby Teancum ,I spent an hour with comcast today. We reset my password. Upon doing soe the second email profile worked on the phone and the first one that was on there stopped working immediately. When i reset the password on the first one i could add it and upon doing so it worked and the second one quit. Comcast checked their side and everything works fine. I can log in to comcast online without reseting the passwords but i cannot have them both work on the iphone simultaneously. They will both work in outlook but not the iphone. I believe it is an iphone issue.

There are millions of comcast customers with phones who do not have this problem. It may be that you have created 2 SMTP server settings where you only need one. Both accounts can use the same outgoing server.
