If I restore my daughter's ipod, can I will I be able to recover bought songs and games?

My daughter forgot her password for her ipod. If I do a restore, will I be able to recover any bought songs and games from the itunes store?

Yes. Anything you bought can be downloaded again. Just use the same Apple ID you used for those purchases.
