Can I transfer my playlist from my ipod to itunes??

We recently purchased a new computer. We backed up all the iTunes music and re-installed it. However, we didn't back up any playlists from the old iTunes. I have the playlists I want on my ipod nano. Is there anyway to transfer the playlists from the nano to iTunes? I know how to transfer music off of my nano and can find the playlist software on my nano. Just, where do I copy it to in the iTunes folder?

Most of the third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod have an option for playlists only. Have a look at the web pages and documentation for these, they are generally quite straightforward.

And if you've got time, but you're short on cash, you could simply look at the songs on the playlists, then create replicas manually. Just a thought.
