I have an ipod classic and have used it with iTunes on windows XP. recently upgraded to win7 and the latest iTunes and I cannot find away to backup or synch my files to a PC?

When I go to see devices in iTunes 11.1.xxx its grayed out. However when I connect it to a PC with Win7 it says its synching but cant find anything. Help if you can

Hey there oochow69,

It sounds like your iPod Classic is grayed out in iTunes when you connect it to your computer after a recent OS upgrade. I recommend the troubleshooting in the article named:
