tried to upgrade to Mavericks and install failed. Error message appears. Cannot get download to continue..? Can anyone help..?

I tried to download the free upgrade to Mavericks but the download failed at about 80% with an error message. Now I cannot get it to continue. Can anyone help?

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5), offered free upgrade to Mavericks
