How to sort phone messages by date time instead of by conversation?

My opinion about Apple products: In just about every business application I can think of, users want/need to be able to choose various sort sequences for the data. Being restricted to just one sequence is not acceptable. Many of Apple's applications across multiple platforms typically have only one sort sequence or very few to choose from. For example, there are only a small number of columns in iTunes that you can sort your music, your podcasts, etc. iPhone seems to suffer the same kind of limited selection.
