How do I turn pin Photostream in my iMac with Mavericks OS??

Is there an easy way to make sure that Photostream is operating on my iMac? It does not seem to be transferring photos

from my iPhone automatically.

iMac, Mac OS 9.1.x

Disable Photo Stream in the System/iCloud preference pane

and in iPhoto's Photo Stream preference pane.

Reboot and reenable both respectively. That should jump start Photo Stream.

Thanks Toad. My problem seems to stem from the fact that Photostream does not appear as an option in the

iCloud pane. Therefore I can't get it started. Maybe it has to do with my not being able to hook up to WiFi at

my location???

You need to be connected to WiFi to use PhotoStream
