Plug my iphone 5s into computer using usb and nothing happens, nothing, no charge no itunes sync no sounds,nothing.

Updated to itunes 11.1.5.5 andsince then my phone and my computer will not communicate. When i plug it in with a usb cable nothing happens, theres no sound, no "installing device driver", no itunes sync, nothing. Theres no portable devices listed on device manager, theres nothing under "devices and printers", its not the cable nor the computer. Does show up in revovery mode but cant do anything with that. And i tries reinstalling and even installed the previous version and still nothing and restarted the apple device service and still nothing. someone please help
