Override available screen resolutions on New Mac Pro

Just got in my NMP, hooked up my Sony SDM-P232W montior to it using a Rocketfish MDP to VGA adapter.

The "Best for Display" resolution comes in at 1280x960?

I'm running the same monitor off my old Mac Pro ATI 1900XT at 1900x1200.

Even using the "Scaled" option on the NMP the best I can do is 1600x1200.

I've verified the MDP to VGA adapter supports the 1900x1200 resolution, the limitation seems to bee on what Mavericks or the NMP is willing to push out.

Is there anyway to override the suggested resolutions to get back my 1900x1200?

Thanks,

Mike
