Printing labels from an address database with more info than addreses

I have used Appleworks database for mailing labels containing additional info which could be designed simply in Appleworks.

I have found nothing that can do this for me so I am still unable to go to Lion as I need this application.

Any ideas. I have looked at Bento but it could not design a label for me only addresses but I could not arrange the label to suit my needs.

Is there nothing that will do the same?

Apple works database sadly missed

FileMaker Pro will do just about anything; it's not cheap and there is quite a learning curve, but it's extremely powerful and as it's pretty well the industry standard there's little chance of it following AppleWorks and Bento into the 'end of life' black hole.
