tranfering itunes music to a flash drive

I would like to tranfer music to a flash drive so I can play it in my car on my usb port. How would I do that? I have the lastest Itunes and Mac OS X software.

By dragging the highlighted music across from iTunes and dropping it into the USB stick.

If your car stereo will play the format it is in, you don't need to convert it.
