Do I need to update to the latest version of iPhoto to print books?

I created a book in Apple iPhoto'11 (I have version 9.2.1 (628)) and when I click "Buy Book", a message recommends me to update to the latest version of iPhoto before placing an order. If I don't, and click "Check Out", will the format of my book be okay?
