MacBook charger light blinking, and computer won't turn on??

So I was keeping my MacBook Pro on the charger and was using it. The charge was fairly high and I closed it to return to it later. However, it now refuses to turn on and the charger light is blinking green and orange. Does anyone know what the potential problem is, and what I can do to fix it?
