You should however read the instructions that came with your printer in setting it up wirelessly

First off the term Wireless Printing is a Misnomer. You don't Print Wirelessly, you print over a Network. It does not matter how the printer or the computer is connected to that network. They could be connected by Ethernet cables or by a Wireless signal.

The first thing you have to do is connect the Printer to your Home LAN (Local Area Network). Depending on the printer you have that cane be done with an Ethernet cable, Hard Wired, or over your Wireless Signal.

So read the User Manual for the printer on how to connect it to your home LAN (The instructions might also be in the Quick Start Guide for the printer).

Once it is connected to your Home Network you can then set it up in your computer to Print to it.
