Q: New remote, nor any device now, will pair/unpair.

After losing my original remote I simply used the Remote app on my devices. This worked wonderfully, but I decided a replacement remote would be nice to have. Unfortunately, this is where it all went wrong. After reading the pairing directions (Menu and Right for 6 seconds), pairing was not only unsuccessful, but seems to have disconnected my other devices from controlling AppleTV, as well. I've tried unpairing (Menu and Left for 6 seconds) to no avail. At this point my AppleTV won't come out of sleep mode and I am unable to pair or unpair any device (new remote, included).

Thank you for any help you can give!

I'm looking this up myself. I've done it before, I'm trying to remember how.

I'm pretty sure, so try it, if you hold down menu and left arrow on the remote for 6 secs it will unpair, so holding down menu and right arrow on the new remote for 6 secs should pair it with your device. Doesn't hurt to try!

    Cheers
