How do I keep my ipad unlocked
when I turn on my ipad is says slide to unlock, then it asks for password. sometimes I forget it so how can I avoid this by keeping the ipad unlocked

Try settings> general> passcode lock> off. You'll still get slide to unlock but no passcode is required.
