Mar 8, 2014 2:31 PM in response to Kappyby papillon1969,I cannot understamd this site. Thanks for your reply Kappy, but it seems to have emailed me your reply, and it hasn't appeared here?
I have attached an excel spreadsheet via an email to my gmail account. I have opened it on my MAC and it seems fine. I have tried to save it to my documents on the Mac, but am getting the message saying I cannot open it. Any thought?
I want to save it, then edit it (in numbers), and then send it back to my work computer which uses Excel.
Any help, please?

Mar 8, 2014 2:33 PM in response to Kappyby papillon1969,Ihave apparently saved it successfully as a Template, but it won't seem to allow me to 'Save'.

Mar 8, 2014 2:43 PM in response to papillon1969by Kappy,You don't save it as a template unless that's what you wanted. Load the file you made. Select Export to under the File menu. Select Excel from the list of options.

Mar 8, 2014 6:24 PM in response to papillon1969by Yellowbox,Hi Papillon,
To answer the question in the title of this thread (Do I have the latest version of Numbers?)
With Numbers open, Menu > Numbers > About Numbers to see the version.
The latest version is 3.1.
3.0 was released in November 2013. If you have 3.0 or 3.01, check for updates, because 3.1 has more features than 3.0.
Regards,
Ian.
