Can't delete calendar on my iphone under category "other"

i have the same issue. i have even deleted the calendar using ical, then synced, and it is still on my iphone, which does not give me the option of deleting.

any ideas on how to delete it?

Exactly the same problem here- holidays calendar under "Other" and I can't do anything with it. Any help would be appreciated!

Same problem here - holiday calendar which - I believe - I had subscribed to when still running an earlier iOS version. The calendar listed under "Others" is identified by its name ("Deutsche Feiertage") and, in small script below, as "subscribed" ("abonniert").

I also am having this issue. I have it on all my iDevices (I have an iPad mini, iPad 4 and iPhone 5). I've turned off Calendar syncing from iCloud and it remains. Must be a bug left over from an older iOS release. I'm gonna back up my iPad and restore and see what happens. I'll post back and let you know my results.

Restored to factory settings, without signing back in to iCloud or anything and the Calendar is still there. GRRRR iOS 7.1 and iPad 4 here. Maybe this is a "feature".

It's under "Other" on mine as well, but as long as you keep it unchecked it won't show up on your calendar. I'm pretty sure Apple changed it from Subscriptions to Other with iOS 7.

It is a built in calendar and cannot be deleted, but as already mentioned, you can turn it off and display it. It doesn't impact other subscribed calendars.

It's just annoying to be honest. I have uncheck it but I want to remove it. Hopefully Apple will identify the bug.

Figured out as well that it was built in. On the Mac you have the option to uncheck it in preferences, not on iOS yet. Only reason I wanted it gone was I had subscribed to it in my iCloud thinking that was the way to get it on all devices. Since it's built in to all my OSes, I just deleted my iCloud version.

You can choose not to display those calendars in iOS as well. with the Calendar app Open, taop Calendars (bottom menu), tap the calendars in question (so they"uncheck").

I have the same problem on my iPhone 4 running iOS 7.1.1

I phoned Apple support earlier and all they told me was to pay $120 upfront before they can resolve this issue...I said it's not my phone.It's a software issue ...They dropped the call on me. I was annoyed. This is definitely a bug issue and must be resolved soon before iOS 8 as the iPhone 4 will not be getting it then. Apple please resolve this pronto!!!! Thanks.

I can't address what you were or were not told by whomever you spoke to, but it is not a bug. It is a design. It does not need "to be resolved soon before iOS 8". If you wish not to use or display those calendars, instructions for how to do so have been provided.

I have inserted the two images from my phone....As you can see in image 2 there is no delete button at the end of the page

In Image 1 you can see where the subscribed calendar is placed on my phone.

Please help delete this....
