Q: There is a restriction set on my iPhone that I did not set.

I recently noticed that after an update my phone had a restriction lock on it. I purchased and registered this phone so it is not a stolen phone. I had done a computer back up to clear some photos off my very full iphone Photos and did the update at the same time. Now I have a restriction set. Help. What do I do?

Contact the previous owner. You won't be able to reactivate it without their help, as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4515. No one else can help you and there's no way around activation lock.
