    Could be the display, GPU or inverter board? Or it could just be the brightness control for the display has been set accidentally to its lowest setting so I would play with those first. If that does not change things then you could be looking at a hardware problem? In which case book an appointment at your nearest Apple Store or Apple Authorised Repair Centre asap for diagnosis and potential repair.
