i downloaded a movie but can't seem to find it. its been paid for

What version of iTunes do you have on your Mac? The purchased movie should be in the iTunes Library in the Movies section. If you don't see the Movies section, on the menu bar choose iTunes > Preferences and tap on the General tab on the toolbar. Make sure there is a checkmark in front of Movies in the Show section.
