Apr 1, 2014 9:04 AM in response to pedrovpinheiroby nikitkas,Words cannot describe how angry this problem makes me. How can world's largest tech company not been able to fix their biggest bug for this many months now?!?!
All these forums are overflowing with the same **** problem: WIFI DOESN'T CONNECT AFTER COMING BACK FROM SLEEP ON MAVERICKS.
How many thousands of people have to post the same godddamn problem for how long?
And no, disconnecting Bluetooth doesn't help (even if it did, its not an acceptable solution). I took my MacBook Air to Apple store twice already and they cannot help either.
aaaAAAAaAaaAAaaarrrrghhh, I'm going to go insane from this problem.
I miss Steve.. he wouldn't let something like this go on for this long. Can a half a trillion dollar company pay attention to its own support forums or at least google "wifi-not-connecting-after-sleep-mavericks" and realize what incompetent company you have become?!

Apr 1, 2014 10:33 AM in response to nikitkasby pedrovpinheiro,It's good to know that there's someone out there that shares my pain. I've had this issue for months now... And they seem uncapable of solving this thing. Absolutely ridiculous

Apr 1, 2014 11:04 AM in response to pedrovpinheiroby Whargarblicus,It's a confirmed issue; perhaps not within the Apple fishbowl but everywhere else. There's been talk of a class action from what I've been reading on other threads, but I have yet to see evidence of this. Others have notified the major tech publications on the matter. Let's hope Apple fixes the issue soon before they are faced with multi-millions to pay in compensatory damages. Keep your problems with this documented and dated as best as possible.

May 15, 2014 5:23 PM in response to pedrovpinheiroby jgsauve,Yep, ths has been a daily thorn in my side as well. I'm an iOS app devleoper and I'm frequently moving between meetings, the office, and home. Every time I shut the lid on my brand new Mac Book Pro 13", I have to disable WiFi and re-enable it in order to get a connection. Very ridiculous issue for $1500 piece of hardware, especially from Apple. FIX IT!!!

May 15, 2014 9:15 PM in response to jgsauveby kevin_,I had the same issue since getting my Late 2013 MacBook Pro. At first I wrote a script and a LaunchDaemon to monitor my WiFi connection and then toggle the Airport card if the connection were to not reconnect after waking from sleep. After months of looking at possible causes and solutions I came up with a simple terminal command to resolve the issue.
Try using the following command in the Terminal and see if that resolves this for you.
sudo defaults delete /Library/Preferences/com.apple.Bluetooth LastA2DPDevice
If this does not work, let me know and I can share the launchd that will monitor and toggle the Airport card if it doesnt reconnect automatically.

May 15, 2014 9:22 PM in response to pedrovpinheiroby jgsauve,Thanks guys. I'll make sure I'm on 10.9.3 first. Then I'll try the terminal command. I'm always reluctant to update because I'm always in the middle of something!

I had the same problem for months and it really was affecting my work since the only way I could recover was to restart. It didn't happen EVERY time, but it happened two or three times a week which was enough to drive me crazy. However, I disabled power nap three weeks ago and it has not happened once since then. Fingers crossed.
