Mar 9, 2014 12:02 PM in response to Rafael Beveridoby Tesserax,If your goal is to provide an extended Wi-Fi network, using wireless connections between routers, the it is critical to properly place each of the extending base stations in order to achieve the best possible overall bandwidth for your wireless network. Please review the following AirPort User Tip for details.
Regardless of whether you use multiple AirPort base stations or extenders provided by other manufacturers you will run into the same issue. If base station placement does not solve the problem, you are left with two other choices:
- Interconnect each of the wireless routers by Ethernet and reconfigure all of them for a roaming network.
- Instead of Ethernet, use Powerline adapters to create pseudo Ethernet connections between base stations. You will still want to configure the network for roaming.
