iPad memory getting full--itunes music
I am running out of space in my Ipad. Usage claims that there is 5.9 gb taken up by itunes but when I plug it into the iMac, the music isn't there. How do I find this music and delete it?

In Settings/Music there is a setting "Show All Music", set that to on.
We tried this. No such luck. The problem is that, even if you flip that switch, you can't delete the music. Swiping doesn't work. But if plug in the iPad to the iMac, and go to the music folder on the iPad, the music isn't there.
Your problem was that you could not see the music at all, do you see it now?
If you do, there are two possibilities (click songs to display): it really is on your iPad, or there is a little cloud with an arrow on the right side of the music. In the last case these are in the cloud. Settings/Music/iTunesMatch to off.
When you switch it to "off" it shows the music that it thinks is on your iPad and you can actually see the song times. From here, you cannot delete by swiping. It simply won't let you. My understanding was that you could delete by swiping in iOS 7. In this instance, it doesn't work.
