speakers not responding with 7.0.6

I've seen countless threads about this very issue. I know its nothing to do with my phone (hardware, abuse, etc) because of SO MANY posts about it. right after I downloaded the new update the speakers on the phone stopped working! I look at my music and and the song is still playing but no sound. I try and turn the volume up and the volume display wont even show up. This whole thing happened right after the update, and right after I selected facebook app. Or went into a differen't app it seems to do this. Its acting like there is another music source its playing through. No nothing is brokin on the iphone other then maybe sofware issues, so dont tell me thats the problem. lets find another solution.
