I have Disney movies at MyDisneyMovies. Supposedly that account is linked to my itunes account but I can't see my movies anywhere in itunes. Why?

Did you actually link it to your iTunes account?

It doesn't do it automatically.

I have linked my Disney Movies Anywhere (DMA) to my iTunes account and it is confirmed within DMA settings. However, I can't find where my movie is anywhere in iTunes.

I had the same problem. I had to go into my iTunes-->Preferences-->Store and select the box to download pre-orders when available. That finally brought Frozen into my Movies folder with the option to download. Good luck!

I had this same problem, but I finally figured out how to get my movies from Disney Movies Anywhere to iTunes.

Make sure you're signed in and go to the iTunes store home page. There is a little side bar where you can find a link named "Purchased". If you click on that, and then movies, you should find your Disney movies there to download through the Cloud. Just click the little Cloud on the top right corner of the movie to download.

This is what I did to download my Frozen and The Incredibles movies, and it worked for me! (By the way, I also selected that "download pre-orders when available", but I'm not sure if that really did anything. Just thought I'd mention that just in case.) 🙂

I had the same problem. The solution for me was signing out of my account then back in. The movies then appeared in my library.

This worked for me, thank you. I will share it with another person I saw on the forms with the same problem.

Checking the "download pre-orders" in preferences did nothing, but downloading from the purchased link in the store gave me the option to download the movie I had just purchased, along with a couple others I had apparently linked in the past but never imported to iTunes.

When you redeem a Digital Copy with your DMA account that is linked to iTunes, the system is set to have the movie primarily show in DMA 'My Collection'.

Now for iTunes, this part isn't well-advertised, but Disney wants to keep your attention in their program (DMA) which is why is not avaiable immeaditely in your Library of iTunes, it is only in your 'Purchased' section of iTunes, commmonly referred to as the iCloud.

The movie will show after 24-48 hrs, sometimes, in my case, it took almost a week for the movie to appear automatically in the Library.

For immeadite access in your Library, it does require downloading from the Cloud, by clicking on the Cloud in the top right corner of the movie artwork within the 'Purchased' section.

Although watching your movie does not require an actual download. Your movie will play via streaming in the Cloud. You will only need to download to watch without WIFI connection.

When I click the 'link accounts' button in DMA, it opens iTunes just fine, but ends there. Nothing happens in iTunes. It doesn't guide me through at all. Why does it seem to work for everyone else?

What do you expect to happen?

Click on Movies.

Probably because you're using internet explorer, lots of issues with I.E. Not working. Try Firefox or chrome.
