Mar 10, 2014 9:40 AM in response to Tom Geweckeby Justino,Yes - thanks, good question Tom. I have Apple Color Emoji installed and active. I was just able to drag a full-color emoji into iMessages.
When I drag an emoji into a text-line in Final Cut Pro, I get the emoji looking regular in color in the inspector, but the emoji is grayscale in the previewer :-/ Here's a picture:

Mar 10, 2014 11:56 AM in response to Justinoby Justino,Update:
I've tried deleting my FCPX preferences, cache and layout file and no luck yet in my primary user acount!
I tried making a new user on my system, and that new user can input color emoji into Final Cut Pro X 10.1 just fine. Still researching how to enable my primary user to be able to input color emoji!

Mar 28, 2014 4:53 PM in response to Justinoby jameboyy,I'm sorry to be of no aid to you in this situation, but I can't seem to get the emojis to show / be visible whatsoever! Have you had this problem at all? And if so, how did you rectify it?
I would really appreciate your help with this as it seems that nowhere else on the internet has had this problem (or at least not encountered it!)
Thanks in advance,
jameboyy

May 27, 2016 5:11 AM in response to Marian234by Luis Sequeira1,Have you tried this recently? I tried this - two macs running El Capitan 10.11.5; add emojis, then copy the library to a second mac, and the emojis appear in full color.
