I am restoring my computer to factory settings so I erased the mac HD and now I'm reinstalling OS X Mavericks & it seems anytime my computer goes to sleep it says download failed. Try using purchase page. I can't do that because I erased the HD. The download takes 15 hrs or so it says. Can someone help me with it going to sleep or what I can do? I can't stay near my computer all day to keep it from falling asleep.

Go to System Preferences > Energy Saver and set it to never sleep.

However if its taking 15 hours to download there is something very wrong.

I can't change the setting because I erased the HD so there's nothing there. & it is an ESTIMATED time of 15 hours.

You do have FREE 90 day support on OS upgrades even if your warranty is expired.

Just call Apple Care at 1-800-277-5322 with your Mac Serial Number and ask to speak

with a senoir advisor about your issue with 10.9.2.
