We are using wifi here at home.i called my cousin who also had an ipad mini yesterday here just to try if she can locate places using wifi only, suddenly it works.why my ipad mini CANT LOCATE PLACES EVEN MY MAP? But my ipad was working to locate where i am,where i bought this.
Wi-Fi only iPad do not have GPS.
Your iPad have to rely on crowd-sourced Wi-Fi hotspot and cell tower locations to determine your approximate location.
How come? Coz my brothers ipad can determine his location using our wifi her at home but mine doesnt work.
His iPad probably manage to track crowd-sourced Wi-Fi hotspot and cell tower nearby.
Then my ipad mini is not managing to track wifi hotspot and cell tower nearby? There is a cell tower here in our place maybe its 150meters away from us.
What do you mean on that? Please help me
