Editing pitch notes diatonically?
Is it possible in LP9 score to edit pitch notes diatonically?

Have you tried the manual?
It says you can "insert" the notes diatonically..... so it would seem to me logical that you can also "edit" the notes diatonically.... but I can't find it
That would be logical (but since when was Logic logical? haha). I guess you have the Diatonic Insert feature turned on, but that doesn't help you with editing notes diatonically. According to the manual it seems there's only the option to go +1/-1 in half steps. If you do a lot of score editing, and this issue makes it tedious, it might be worthwhile to invest in Sibelius. Lame answer I know, but Sibelius is pretty sweet for score editing — and you could then export/import the MIDI files into Logic.
I already have Sibelius and I'd like to edit notes in Logic in the score as I can do with Sib... 🙂
Diatonic editing is a great idea, but it seems not to exist in LP9, at least as far as I (and you) can tell. Might be a good time for a feature request, although I think support for Logic 9 is pretty much done. Sorry I can't help more.
Maybe in Logic X? 🙂
