my Avery Design Pro keeps crashing

Start by trashing the preference file for it (.plist file).

Option-click on Go and choose the Library listed. Then open the Preferences folder in that and find something like com.avery.designpro.plist and throw it into the Trash.

Restart the app and see if it now works better.
