Mar 10, 2014 10:18 AM in response to Saulfromukby Jesse Stern,Have you tried opening one of the templates from your filesystem (instead of from the "File -> New" menu in Logic)? That might jolt Logic back into seeing them....
If not, it couldn't hurt to reinstall Logic.

Mar 10, 2014 10:31 AM in response to Jesse Sternby Saulfromuk,Hi Jesse,
Thanks for replying.
When I open the templates from my file system, it gives me the amount of channels the template usually has but they are completely empty.
Is there a way for me to reinstall Logic without deleting all the additional content or my third party sequencers? I'd hate to have to redownload everything again (my internet is very slow).

Mar 10, 2014 10:46 AM in response to Saulfromukby Jesse Stern,I would *guess* that reinstalling Logic would not erase the additional content. But that's just a guess. This link might help with that question: https://discussions.apple.com/message/22819179#22819179
Seems like some of your templates are somehow corrupted. It sounds like they are in your filesystem (I don't have it in front of me, but /Library/Application Support/Logic/Project Templates/ or something like that), but then they don't show up in Logic, and don't open correctly when opening from the filesystem.
How about this: Create a new user on your Mac. Open Logic there. Same problem? If not, try deleting some caches in your original user account (~/Library/Caches/com.apple.logic.x/ or something like that, and com.apple.audiounits.cache).
If the problem exists even on a new user ... this is a lame answer, but it might be just lame enough to work. It couldn't hurt to trash your preferences, repair disk permissions, and restart.

Mar 10, 2014 11:11 AM in response to Saulfromukby Saulfromuk,Hi Jesse,
Unfortunately encountered same issue on new user. Before I repair disk permissions, how do I "trash" my preferences?
Thanks a lot!
P.S and how do I reinstall Logic if I have to?

It wouldn't hurt to go through this troubleshooting guide step-by-step, just in case we're missing anything obvious. There's a step covering templates. It might help....
Step 10 of the same guide details how to reinstall Logic. Again, it's probably a good idea to back up your additional content so you don't have to re-download the whole thing. Again, this thread has some tips on backing up your Additional Content: https://discussions.apple.com/message/22819179#22819179
I hope this helps!
