Mar 12, 2014 4:24 AM in response to marianovaleby sabamit,Same here with iphone 5, i tried everything, Wifi stopped after turning it off once and can't turn it back on again.
Wish Apple had better testing ; bluetooth also keeps dropping; i wonder if it's due to carplay changes that has messed up existing customer base.

Mar 12, 2014 6:30 AM in response to sabamitby sabamit,Found a solution; hard boot your phone; not just restart; hard boot; pressing home and sleepwake button together reloads everything from scratch; fingers crossed; bluetooth and Wifi are now working well

Mar 12, 2014 6:54 AM in response to marianovaleby JG0614,Same issue here. iPhone 4s, was using WiFi just fine yesterday, updated last night and now I have nothing, "Greyed-out" and have tried steps on the link that Snozdrop suggested, a HArd Reboot, and the Airplane mode, reset that you mentioned. WTH do I do now?

Mar 12, 2014 10:54 AM in response to JG0614by AmishCake,There are many, many threads on this forum about this issue. Do a forum search for "wi-fi greyed out" and see if any of the solutions therein will work for you. Best of luck.

Mar 12, 2014 11:17 AM in response to marianovaleby TJBUSMC1973,Use this article: support.apple.com/kb/ts1559
Follow all of the troubleshooting steps. You can even try restoring the device as new: support.apple.com/kb/ht4137
If the wi-fi remains greyed out, your device needs service.
If within warranty, it should be free.
If not, it will probably cost $199 USD + tax.

Mar 15, 2014 8:48 AM in response to marianovaleby Albi Rando,I had the same issue.
Tried everything on this thread, even restored the iOS with itunes. No results. Wifi visible, no access before restoring iOS; wifi visible and access to the network after restoring, but most often no IP adress assigned, or sometines very slow internet access that generated continuous time outs.
What worked was to update the firmare of the airport station.
Now everyhting works normaly.
Hope that helps.

Mar 17, 2014 8:04 AM in response to marianovaleby krisleczek,Same here. My new iPad Air can't connect to my previous generation airport extreme just after upgrade to ios 7.1. I can still manage the airport extreme with ipad app but when try to connect to it it waits forever. There is no problem with iPhone 5 running ios 7.1. I've tried to restart ipad, reset network and all settings but no luck. My airport extreme software is up to date.
